Calling all budding writers! Science Chronicles is a science fiction writing competition, aimed at fostering a new generation of scientific thinkers and writers. It is open to all students in Singapore between the ages of 15 – 18 years old. Students are given free rein to pen their literary creations that should have at least some mention of science and technology within their storyline.
The aims of this literary quest are:

Identify budding writers among the student cohort |

Promote the applications of science, technology, engineering and mathematics to the masses. |

Encourage imaginative thoughts of science and technology of the future |
| • |
Build a new breed of scientific thinkers and visionaries - who can relate the use and application from methodologies of science with the art of imaginative literary creation |

On-line Submissions for Science Chronicles 2010 will open from 5 Feb – 11 April 2010.

Science Chronicles 2010 – a book of winning entries from 2009 has been printed and copies will be sent to schools in Feb 2010.
